Talk About the Food This place has great pizza. That's why I'm here looking for the phone number. [29 Jan 2001 21:38:43]

The Absolute Best Pizza! I have tried them all in the big apple. This restaurant might not be as popular as the others but it is in my opinion the best pizza I have ever tasted! [09 Jan 2002 13:29:21]

Not what it used to be Time was that A&J used to be the best slice pizza in Forest Hills but sad to say this is no longer even close to true. It's not that some other place has gotten better - it's that it has gone way way downhill.
Ever since they expanded - well maybe the money went to rennovations or the new owners changed the formula but "it just ain't what it used to be" Where to go for decent sliced pizza in Foresth Hills? When you figure that out - please let us know. [18 Nov 2002 15:31:22]

Veal too salty I don't know what they have been adding to the breadcrumbs. Maybe they are trying to make sure that you buy a drink. $9.00 for a veal cutlet sandwich compaired to other Italian takeout places charging $5.50 is a little high. [05 Oct 2003 10:33:01]

Awsome Food The food is excellent!!! BY FAR THE BEST pizza place in the neighborhood. I have lived in the neighborhood all my life and AJ's is the #1 pizza place there. [22 Mar 2005 13:50:41]

Agree - Not What It Used To Be. A&J used to have the best pizza in the neighborhood but theirs tastes like every other delivery place that shoves menus under your door. The crust is thicker and too chewy. The poorer quality doesn't justify their higher prices. [14 Jul 2007 07:31:06]

Love pizza? Then You'll Love A&J's. Anytime I'm over on Austin St. I just have to stop by. The food is great! I've had the pizza (of course), their wings, and the penne a la vodka just to name a few, my favorites. The price is a little bit higher than any other pizzeria but definitely worth it.
