Perhaps the last oldtime beer garden in NYC. Huge patio. Three catering rooms. Great draft beer. Traditional Czech food: lots of pork, fried cutlets, sausages, potatoes and DUMPLINGS!. Not a contemporary diet, but go and enjoy it anyway. You're not going to eat that way every day.

With the real estate boom raging in Astoria, you should get there before, one day, the wrecker's ball does. No one will ever build a beer garden like this, especially in NYC, again. The N train stops a block away, so leave the car at home.

And if you're only drinking at the bar, Bring Cash.
