Description

Retro diner/soda shop atmosphere. Serves Black Angus beef burgers and cheeseburgers from 5 ounces to 20 ounces, available with many toppings and cheeses. The menu also includes milkshakes made with a choice of many flavors of ice cream, fresh-cut french fries and onion rings, grilled chicken sandwiches, and salads. Counter and table seating available, as well as outdoor patio seating with a view of the water.

Definitely Better Quality Food than the Competition!
We've been here many times and always have a good meal. Definitely one of the better places to get a good burger in Rochester. This place is not a fast-food burger joint. You get burgers that actually taste like real beef (unlike what you get at many other places in town).

Burger sizes range from "reasonable" to "feeds a family of four." A word of caution: A small order of fries can actually feed two people comfortably. Your choices for milkshake flavors is far more than you'll probably ever need. THe restaurant also offers flavored Cokes. Prices are reasonable considering portion sizes and it all tastes like real food.

The restaurant is located in the Ferry Terminal at the waterfront and offers friendly service in a casual retro atmosphere. Both counter and table seating are available, with outdoor patio seating by the water during the warmer months. Indoor seating can fill up quickly on a busy day or night. You can and probably should call ahead to check their hours of operation.

If you think other local restaurants serve quality burgers, you really need to get out more often because you're missing out on a lot of great food.    [03 Feb 2009 12:45:24]
