Frequently touted as "the original," Cobbs Hill Pizza & Pasta has been in business in the Park Avenue cultural district since 1970. This restaurant is considered by many to be more than just a pizza shop, as it features a full menu of Italian and American specialties made from fresh ingredients using generations of experience.
Offerings include a variety of party and special occasion trays, cold subs and salads, hot Italian specials such as chicken or eggplant Parmesan and baked marinated chicken, and of course pizza and chicken wings. Dinner specials are available on Saturday night.
Because all food items are made to order, it is a good idea to allow enough time: Customers are welcome to phone in orders ahead of time and then eat in, pick up, or take advantage of their free local delivery service.

A Taste to Remember...
I used to order in from Cobbs Hill Pizza about six years ago when I lived in the area on South Union. My best friend and I were in love with the cheeseburger baskets with hot sauce and fries. A great taste with an awesome price. Now, six years later, I am back in the Monroe Avenue area and had been dyin' for a cheeseburger basket but couldn't recall the name of the restaurant to save my life. So, what did I do? I Googled "cheeseburger basket, Rochester, NY" and wouldn't ya know it - here was this site, with another fan of the cheeseburger baskets with hot sauce! [09 Jan 2007 11:35:06]
