Mmm...Good Chicken

Great Caterers
I tend to place orders at least once every two weeks and they always do a great job. The food great, the service is punctual and the prices...eh, I could always wish for lower prices but all in all, the subs are a great alternative to pizza for large events.    [28 Oct 2003 21:45:35]

I have frequented Pelligrino's for several years; the last few times have been a real disappointment- slow service with lots of little mistakes, and when the subs finally arrive, they just aren't worth the wait...the rolls are mediocre and the contents sloppily put together. I particularly like Pellegrino's. We order a lot from my job and the subs are good. If they do make a mistake, they own up to it. I have had subs with more bread than meat, slow service at one point, but stuff happens sometimes. Every time I order it is always right, the bread has always been fresh, meat cut thin, and the hot subs stay warm in the aluminum wrapping. They are sometimes a little sloppy, but that happens everywhere. The service is prompt, especially when you call ahead, and the restaurant is always clean.

The best sub - hands down - is their steak subs in boss sauce (excellent)!

Watch out if you go there during rush hour or dinner/lunch time, small parking lot and the Distillery Restaurant is right across the street (very busy, might have trouble turning onto side street). Food service is ok if you get the right person - Sam was the one that waited on me. Food is great only if you get a person that wants to wait on you; getting cashed out is ok yet again only if you catch a woker that wants to help you. Food could be better. Not that clean... Outside the line is fine, but behind not so clean. Not once did I see a worker wash their hands, and they kept gloves on after throwing out trash, touching their face and who knows what else.    [08 Dec 2006 09:22:47]
