Subs with taste -- what a concept After you have one of Dave's subs, any other sandwitch will seem bland and tastless. Dave is not afraid to excite your senses, to spice it up or sauce it up. Accountants should not go to Dave's. [21 Jan 2006 19:11:10]

Overrated and overpriced I've been to Dave's twice. First time the sub was tasty, yet left me unsatisfied on account of the small amount of meat on the sandwich. Second time (benefit of the doubt theory) I noticed the meat has been measured out a la Subway in little packets. Bad way to make a sub. The special sauce just can't make up for this lack of substance. So, then, on my second trip I ask why my cosmic sub was taking so astronomically long to make. A long-haired guy yells at me, nastily, "It's almost done!" Somebody tells me that's "Dave". Nice. Love it when the proprietor yells at you. Wow, it's, like, so cosmic man... [09 May 2007 22:35:57]

Overrated and Overpriced Too little meat (it's pre-measured, just like at Subway), sauce is tasty but can't make up for the fact you're still hungry after a Dave's sub. And, plus, Dave himself yells at people when he's in the shop. Have heard this from a few different people who have been in there. Ridiculous when the owner yells at customers. [15 May 2007 13:16:02]

Little Chocolate Cookies by Dave's Dave makes and packages his own Chocolate Cookies. They are small and crispy but not hard. They are somehow infused with many tiny little air pockets that with the chocolate pieces and sugar just melt in your mouth perfectly leaving a feeling of pure Nirvana. They are by far the best cookies I have ever tasted. Add this to Dave's wonderful Sub sandwiches and you know that you have found a small slice of heaven right here on earth. [29 May 2007 17:29:51]
