Description
An authentic Mexican restaurant. Acapulco has recently redecorated. It has a cozy feel but can accomodate large parties. Very reasonably priced.

Real Mexican Acapulco Mexican restaurant offers authentic cuisine from the area around Acapulco. Owned by three brothers from that area, Acapulco offers exceptional value. You will be seated promptly and served complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa is awesome. Be careful to leave room for your entree.
From your first bite of chimichanga, burrito, huevos, quesadilla or any other dish from the menu, you will understand immediately that you've never had really great Mexican food before.
After dinner, the flan is excellent.
The portions are more than you should probably eat. The sides of frijoles and rice are always perfect.
The guacamole is always so fresh you'd think they just made it for your plate.
The fajitas are served sizzling from the kitchen and there is enough on the plate to serve two.
The service is always outstanding. [30 Apr 2003 22:55:16]

Not Taco Bell! Had the Acapulco Taco Salad! If you take a date, this is enough for two. Shrimp, beef, chicken, guacamole, tomatoe, ect, ect, ect. My nephew had some kind of burrito about the size of an forearm. I thought the Margarita was a little weak, but that is probably just me, It is definantly not a complaint. I will eat there again and again and, well you get the picture. [10 Jul 2005 13:31:47]

Our favorite A quiet little hole-in-the-wall place beside a very busy Rick's Tavern and Grill is this little spot called Acapulco. It serves wonderfully delicious Mexican meals. They serve it quick and they serve it hot. You get the mandatory chips and salsa on the table when you are seated and the salsa is my favorite out of all the Mexican eateries around.
Have a birthday? They will plop an outrageously huge sombrero on your head and sing you a birthday song. You get to wear the hat till you leave.
Occasionally, they feature a mariachi band. It was lively and fun with everyone getting in on the Chicken Dance song.
Nice atmosphere, nice repast. We take all our visiting company over there for dinner when they come down from other cities and they say it was a good choice. My son from Columbus says it is the best Mexican restaurant he's been at. One great thing about them, too, is that they always have coupons in the local brochures. No expiration date on them either.
