Frankie's - Cleveland.com; While Frankie's menu is not overwhelming, there is a good selection of dishes: Pastas, sandwiches, various chicken and veal dishes, steak, orange roughy and several daily specials. Appetizers are standard Italian fare -- mozzarella sticks, fried calamari, fried ravioli, bruschetta, etc. Salads come in both dinner and appetizer sizes. Frankie's "famous" house salad will set it apart from other restaurants, as their house dressing is a spectacular sweet-and-sour. The salad, which was green and fresh, is also loaded with about a half pound of very fresh shredded provolone. . . . - suggest change

The BEST pizza around! I had my first experience eating at Frankie's while I was in high school more than 20 years ago. Every Friday night my date and I would head there whether or not it was after a football game or after seeing a movie.
Almost nine years ago we moved to Texas...and I CRAVE Frankie's like you would NOT believe! There are NO pizza parlours here in Texas like in Ohio...and there is definitely no Frankie's!
This summer my family and I ventured back to Ohio on vacation...the first place we went to eat at was Frankie's. The taste hasn't changed ONE bit!! I was in heaven! Their house salad is also a must...the mounted cheese on top and the house dressing are the BEST!
Of course, the atmosphere has changed drastically since I was in high school. At that time it was a long, narrow restaurant with only a juke box...and I can remember it was dark. However...it was always a lot of fun!
Now Frankie's is a full-scale restaurant...bright and beautiful.
As far a the menu. Frankie's has many popular entrees, but I didn't try any of their other dishes...we just had their regular pepperoni pizza! This is all we needed! [23 Sep 2004 18:27:27]

Yum! I had the vegetable lasagna, the special for the day and it was SOOO good! My brother had the tortellini with meat sauce, he said it was good, but he wished he ordered something more fun like the meat lasagna... so I gave him some of my cheese to cheer him up! The House salad dressing was very original, but good! The tiramisu was also good. My only complaint is about the jerks that were sitting behind us. It was a family, 2 brothers and their sister and they were all screaming and swearing at each other! Boy am I glad my brother and I get along! [22 Mar 2007 21:14:17]
