Best Chinese-Thai Fast Food
OK WOK is a family operation, located in the Woodville Mall food court that serves Chinese Fast Food on styrofoam plates and carry-out containers. Plastic knives and forks are suppled too. You order at the walk-up counter and take your food to a table in the food court right in front of the restaurant. Containers of soy sauce are available for the eat-in clients so there is no struggling with impossible-to-open packets. Everything I've had there is excellent, especially their Shrimp Fried Rice. They also have the Almond Boneless Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Beef, and other Chinese stir-fry and a variety of Thai dishes, including several degrees of spicy. Food is prepared to order individually on the spot. You can order without vegetables or whatever you like. Nothing sits around in warming trays getting stale or dry like most mall operations. Portions are very large, compared to the typical Chinese fast food. Prices are reasonable, $4 to 6, and $4.49 for most of the popular dishes. This is the best and most enduring location for OK Wok. Attempts to set up operations at 4 other locations ended when the other malls failed, or they had trouble with staff. The owners run this one and they do a good job. Tina usually waits on the counter weekdays and she is a very sweet person. Woodville Mall is a dying mall, however, so they may need to relocate if that happens.    [11 Apr 2007 14:00:40]
