Sisters realize dream at Etna eatery - Family involved in Fat Sam’s Pizza and Deli -- - Pataskala Standard Reporter , Chad Klimack, 9 October 2003; When customers leave Fat Sam’s Pizza & Deli on U.S. 40 they pass a sign that reads, “Thank you! Please accept our appreciation and sincere thanks for letting us serve you. Sometimes in the rush of business life we fail to say thanks loud enough...” The sign perfectly suits Etna Township’s newest restaurant. The men and women who work at the family-owned establishment are quick with a smile, handshake or laugh. Their demeanors do not seem forced or fake, likely because they are living a dream. “Whenever you make something and a customer says, ‘That’s great.’ It really makes you feel good,” said Cathy Brooks, who, along with her sister, Janet Kethley, owns Fat Sam’s. The two sisters are living a dream because much of their family is involved in the business. - suggest change
