Great Food Cheap
Although they're not fancy nor pretend to be, the food as well as service at Charlie's is outstanding. You get plenty of food for your money, and the prices are all very reasonable. For families this is a very good place to go, kid-friendly and there's not worry about being too loud. And, their French fries are some of the best I've ever had.    [18 Apr 2006 17:13:24]

Don't go if you don't plan to wait forever
Been going to this restaurant for ~ 5 years. Food usually very good, but doesn't overcome the "service" which would have been extremely poor if it had existed at all. Waitress / mgmt attitude is cavalier at best.
This seems to be a problem at this particular Charlie's, as the one near Swanton and the one on Monroe are good food AND good service!
