Casual dining, featuring a classic American menu of gourmet burgers, pasta, salads and steaks. A favorite for children is the creat-your-own ice sundae bar (bathtub). Another popular dessert is fresh baked cookies brought out warm on a cookie sheet. Ambiance is typical gourmet cheeseburger restaurant, with collectibles or very old pictures of Max & Erma's family. Three large seating areas, the area to the right includes a fireplace and full bar with large screen TVs. Other areas in the restaurant have partial or full view of flat panel TVs. While the parking lot may appear to be overflowing, there is plenty of seating inside. Check their Web site for the frequently offered 'buy an entree, get an entree free' coupon.
