Pizzeria Uno Chicago Grill

While the name would suggest a pizza place, Uno offers much more than pizzas including steaks, burgers, pasta, sandwiches, soup/chowder, salads, appetizers and desserts. The atmosphere is typical of other upscale steak and burger places. The Chicago style pizza with a thick crust is topped with fresh vegetables and high quality meats. One of over 190 locations nationwide.

Many Items to Choose From
While I'm picky about pizza and don't like the Chicago style pizza, there are many items I do like including fat, juicy burgers, steak cooked to order and other items.    [13 Mar 2004 10:38:52]

The pizza is great too!
I read one review that said that they didn't like the pizza. Well, UNOs, in my opinion, is the best pizza! The sauce is great, with chunks of real tomatoes in it. We normally get their pepperoni pizza, but they have other varieties such as veggie, meat lovers, Hawaiian, etc.

The crust is thick and sweet, which is one of the few crusts that is worth eating.

UNO's has a lunch special every day with a small pizza and a salad or soup. It is quite reasonable (I think it was $5.95).

The sirloin tips are great too, and the pizza skins (which are a potato skin with mashed potatoes on top of it, sprinkled with bacon and cheese).

I've rarely had a bad experience at UNO's, and highly recommend it! Their other entree's are as good as the pizza.
