Very Popular with Dubliners
Great place to hang out after socceer, after golf and especially popular during tournaments. Try it yourself before you trust the opinion of others who may have reasons other than the food to dissuade others. Bogey is right around the corner from my office and makes the best salmon sandwich I think I've ever had the pleasure to eat, I can assure you that the quality and offerings of the new Bogey Inn far surpass anything previous owners had to offer. The food tastes, and is, fresh. They have an excellent selection of dishes from which to choose; pasta, sandwiches, pizzas, and more substantial dinner plates such as chops with apple chutney, and a delicious filet. The new owners have spent a substantial amount of time and money in renovations. The bar has been completely re-built, the tired, faded 70's golf pictures are gone - replaced with a fantastc 6 panel golf scene mural in the main dining room. The commitment to changing the things that brought the Bogey down without changing the soul of a local icon is obvious. I invite you to take another taste, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! By the way, invite a friend along, it will take at least both of you to eat the huge slab of delicious chocolate cake on the dessert menu.    [11 Nov 2004 20:45:43]

The Bogey is Back and Better than Ever!!!!
The Bogey Inn has been brought up to date without losing its historical appeal. I had not been to the Bogey for years until recently. The new owners have given it a much needed facelift including plasma TV's in the bar ( I counted 12), a banquet room with a fireplace and the menu is perfect. It has something for everyone. Awesome food
I was recently at the Bogey for dinner and had the filet mignon. Very, very good. The vegetables were crisp and the potatoes were great. I was surprised the Bogey would have filet and do such a great job. I had the reubin for lunch the next day and was superb. Thanks for coming back!

Wonderful!

Terrible Rotten Food
By far the worst food i have ever experienced. Hamburgers overcooked, fries cold, stale and moldy bread on reuben, crabcake was fishy, cheese on salad was spoiled. So bad, we just left without eating anything. No manager anywhere, server kept apologizing and saying that the manager was busy bartending and would come asap, but they never came.
