YUM!
This place is amazing - for breakfast lunch, or dinner, and of course, carryout. The owners and staff are great and the environment is cozy - you feel as though friends invited you over for a meal. Hella's is my favorite breakfast or brunch place!
Hella's is lovingly nicknamed "Demo's" at our home. That's because Demo makes you feel like he's invited you over. The wait staff are terrific as well, but Demo goes over the top by being so welcome and creating conversation that includes you, and often other tables. People line up to eat here almost every Saturday and Sunday morning! There is a breakfast bar that you can eat at, and believe me I would not have a problem going alone as everyone is in a good mood at Demo's. He makes the best french toast, and it's ready in just a minute or two. Not only is the food great (and inexpensive!!), but he welcomes children, makes over them, and when they make a mess he tells you that is what children do best. He often runs in the back to chop a banana for our daughter. Demo feels like extended family and Hella's is one of those places we love to rave about, but also like a secret we want to keep to ourselves!
