Simply The Best General Tso's Around
I don't know if anyone gets out to this small town in Ohio that often, but let me just inform everyone that it is worth the drive. I first stumbled onto this small restaurant when I attended Kent State University. It was a 15 minute drive, but I looked forward to it every other day. It has the solid flavor of many other restaurants, but what sets this dish apart from the countless others is its unique "soft" spice. It does not have the normal thick after taste. Agreed - Outstanding General Tso's
Based on the other review here, I tried Ming Chu's. Indeed it is some of the best Chinese you will find in the Kent/Ravenna area. Especially the General Tso's Chicken. Just be sure to bring cash as they don't take credit/debit and I found myself having to go to Giant Eagle across the street to get to an ATM. Also the language barrier is pretty thick. Placing your order over the phone will take some patience and repeating. But all that aside, the food is outstanding. The dining area was pretty clean. Amazing General Tso's
I was born and raised in Ravenna, and Ming Chu's has been there most of that time. I have traveled all over the world and have tried many General Tso chicken dishes, but I must say, Ming Chu's is the best I've had. Perhaps its just because it something I've had since I was so young, of this I'm not sure. I am sure however, that if you make it to Ravenna, OH. a must stop (at least twice) is Ming Chu's!    [09 Oct 2007 18:53:47]

By Far The Best General Tso's EVER!!
I have been to many Chinese restaurants in many different states, but Ming Chu's in Ravenna is by far the best I have ever landed my taste buds on. It has just the right kick, not too spicy as others I've tried.
