Kids Love This Place

Open Face Roast Beef is Spicy
We ordered a BBQ Cheeseburger which was loaded with fried onions, mushrooms, pickles, bacon and the usual condiments along with an Open Face Roast Beef sandwich. The waitress brought out three soft sweet rolls before the meal, which we wasted no time eating. She brought out three more of the rolls, which was great for after the meal. She was also there for refills and checking on our needs, as well as a manager checking on our service. It was a Friday afternoon, so they were not real busy. The main course arrived around 15-20 minutes after ordering. The cheeseburger was not the biggest we've seen, however it was very tasty. With the all the toppings on top of the cheeseburger, it was difficult to hold. The cheeseburger was served with fries, which were good. The open face roast beef on Texas toast was served with mashed potatoes (mashed with the potatoe skins). The gravy and roast beef were spicy, way too much pepper for my taste. Both of the meals were more than we could eat, especially considering the excellent sweet rolls served with the meal. We passed on the dessert, having stuffed ourselves on the main entree and after dinner sweet rolls. They played country music during our visit, however it was turned down low enough that you could talk easily.    [09 Apr 2004 16:29:54]

It's All About The Steak
If your like me and you can only afford places like The Top, Clermont, and Morton's on special occasions, and you want a steak that comes closer to those then Ponderosa, then Logan's is your huckelberry.

I like this place better then all the other mid-priced chains in town for one reason...the 16oz ribeye. I've never had anything else on the menu. Yes the rolls are good and the sides are probably good as well. I say that because when I leave the only thing I remember is that steak. The only steaks I have had that betters this puppy cost at least $10 more.

If I have to say something negative and I feel I do, there have been visits where the service has been slow. Those times irritated the people I was dining with more then me. I also remember a time when my boss had trouble getting his steak cooked correctly, sending it back twice, but did I mention the ribeye!!!    [13 Jun 2006 08:08:27]

Feel like a home atomsphere

Typical meat-potatoe-lettuce place
