Description

Panera Bread

While this restaurant is well known for freshly high quality baked bread, it is also a restaurant serving sandwiches and soup. From a daily soup to several regular selections such as chicken noodle, served with a small half-loaf of bread in place of the usual crackers. Deluxe deli style sandwiches. They also offer premium salads as an alternative in the soup or sandwich combo. Most restaurants in this chain have a metal and glass window fireplace in the middle of the dining area. No kids menu, although you could request a certain deli meat on a plate. Even the half sandwich and soup ($4.99 as of April, 2004) is a big lunch.

Favorite Sandwich & Soup Place
I love the fresh bread and great deli sandwiches. The soups are homemade and a great deal when you buy the half-sandwich & soup combo. They lack selections for the picky children, even the soup is a little spicy for some tastes. The part loaf of bread they serve with the soup has a tough crust, although the bread inside is great for dipping in the soup.    [24 Mar 2004 18:24:32]

Panera was a rip off
They have a selection in the soup
category called "Soup for a Group"
That is a joke, it was barely enough
for 2 bowls of soup.
Hey, do you like salt? well try the
chicken noodle soup, I may as well
been lickin a salt block.
This was a take-out order, nothing
like gettin home and gettin all
PO'ed because I spent $18 bucks
for a dinky little serving of
salty soup!    [12 Dec 2006 14:02:49]
