Clueless Waiter To be fair, I've been here a couple of times and generally had NO problems. Today was different. We've had the unpleasant experience of having "Trent" as our waiter. Trent didn't acknowledge us, or give us the customary greeting waiters tend to give their customers. I found him impolite and when we were finished with our meal; he didn't say "Thank you". Of course, I talked with the manager and he apologized and said he would talk with Trent. Somehow, I doubt it. [16 Jan 2006 18:28:55]

We dined at this restaurant last evening and we were quite disappointed; our waiter was friendly at first than completely disappeared, never brought us silverware or bread plates. We sat there with salad and bread and nothing to eat it with, then to our surprise our appetizer came with no plates and again we sat and stared. Then to our surprise the manager brought our dinner and never asked why we weren't eating our appetizer and just dropped the food off. My husband's steak was overcooked and the fries were cold and greasy, plate presentation was awful and of course no check back.
I understand Friday night is a busy weekend but if poor service and cold food keep up the guests will stop coming. [10 Feb 2007 06:36:57]

Billed twice the same day On March 17th 2007 I ordered a carry out at the Brown Derby in Streetsboro Ohio, and when I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, the waitress took my credit card to pay for the bill and then went to get my order, when she came back out she asked for my credit card again, I asked her why she needed it again, she said she charged me for the wrong bill. She then said she credited my account for the $36.95 she charged the first time and it would not show up on my card. Well when I got my credit card statement, guess what? Both charges where on my credit card and here it is 5 days later and I still have not gotten my credit, the manager at the restaurant in Streetsboro wanted me to fax my complete credit card statement to her so she could review it, there is no way I was going to do that. I stopped at the restaurant on April 10th and talked to a man claiming he was the manager and wanted to run a copy on my statement so he could contact the corporate office, I showed him my statement and he saw the double charge. The easy thing would be is just run my credit card thur the credit card machine and give me the credit. I used to go with my wife and several times with my neighbors to this restaurant at least once a month or more, but your restaurant just lost me as a regular. I feel I was not handled the right way. Good Review I was actually looking at these reviews for a hotel management class I was taking and I just wanted to take a minute to write that my mother and I go to this restaurant at least 2 times a week and we love it! The food is always great and brought out with perfect timing, the service is amazing and the ambiance is fun. The team of management and servers recognize us immediately. Everyone who I know have gone here LOVE it and continue going back. I have never heard of a bad experience. [04 May 2007 13:22:14]

Wow...Fantastic. I can't believe anyone could give this place a bad review. I had the best service and food I have had anywhere. Very attentive, fantastic food, excellent waitress. A little on the loud side, but worth it. I want to return to Streetsboro just so I can eat there again, even though I will be digesting this meal for about a week!!

Don't Buffalo Your Guests This evening (Aug 16, 2007) a business associate and I went to the Streetsboro facility for a much anticipated meal. This was the first visit for both of us. We ordered the same meal, Texas Sirlon 12oz. When the meals were delivered there was a very noticeable differences in the cut the meat. His was 4 times thicker than mine. I asked the waitress and she gave me the "canned response" that management instructed her. I said, Sara, your service and personality was exceptional - however for your kitchen to deliver two identical dishes with such a difference in the cut of the meat - no way. She got her manager on duty and that woman attempted to B.S. her way through the same story. I told her - "that dog don't hunt". She offered to replace the meal, I told her that I wasn't going to make my associate wait 20-25 minutes for another meal. Perhaps if top management would read some of these comments - it might tell them there needs more of their involvement. I filled a comment card and mailed it to the Hudson address. Who knows if it will get to the right inbox.
In the meantime - I will not return to that facility if they think they'll prepare meals like they did tonight. If it weren't for Sara, tonight would have been the worst experience I had at an eating establishment. [16 Aug 2007 20:32:30]
