Poor Service
What happen to the good service you used to have. Since the new manager has come on board the service has been lousy. My friends & I waited for 25 min. to place our order today. Not even an acknowledgement that we were even there. Today was the last time myself or friends will go elsewhere in Streetsboro. They definetly need more help    [05 Oct 2004 13:33:52]

6yr old served beer
My 6 yr old went to Rocknes on 10/18/04 for dinner ordered root beer and got beer manager was very rude did not care that they just served a minor beer gave us the wrong number to speak to the district manager my daughter spit the beer all over her food and then still charged us for it did not even replace the food i police report was filed with the Streetsboro police department!

We filed a complaint with the BBB, Rocknes is changing their story my daughter still has not received any gift certificates they said they would mail which was for $30.00 the meal they charged us for was over $50.00 that we did not get to eat due to my daughter spitting beer on it that she got in a child’s cup nothing at all happened to the manager who thought it was a big joke I thought the customers were always right? I guess not at Rocknes they would not even replace the food that my daughter spit out the beer on it was not her fault Rocknes is to blame they should of replaced the food and gave us gift certificates they are being very rude whenever we call all we ever get is a answering machine that we have to leave several messages on before anyone calls back then they are in a big hurry. They are claiming there is no difference between beer and root beer sorry they smell, taste, foam up differently, and they are also different colors my daughter refuses to go out to eat now unless she can bring her own drink with her they will not even respond to this service here. I have warned all my family friends etc so please taste your child’s drinks before them when going to Rocknes.    [21 Oct 2004 17:03:58]

I love Rocknes!!!
Rocknes is by far my favorite restaurant!! They have always been good to me. There food there is just to my liking..nothing too fancy. I'm not one who likes peppers, onions or too much weird seasonings. You never run out of pop, you always have a refill.    [06 Mar 2006 18:10:20]

Scolding Waitress

I had just started eating the meal served when someone started vacuuming the booth right behind me, I stopped eating and motioned for the waitress to visit, I complained about the commotion and noise figuring they would at least stop for a few minutes...no way! I was scolded by the waitress for complaining! I asked her how would she like to go out to eat and have the same thing happen to her, and I was told she would have no problem with it, it happens to her all the time!...(basically, I felt I was wrong to complain) the waitress was visibly angry with me and I couldn't wait to get out of the place! Very uncomfortable. I don't think I will ever go back..and yes...I will tell at least a dozen people not to go! I did advise a different waiter who did come and apologize, but he wasn't the one that should have apologized! Advise you all to read author Tom Peter's "In Search of Excellence" you might learn a few things about customer service.
