Great atmosphere, weak sauce
The atmosphere of Buca di Beppo is some of the best I can remember. The walls are covered with pictures of various scenes and people from Italy. Make sure you check out the Pope room.

However, the food was very poor. The marinara sauce had almost no flavor and the garlic bread was just a lump of crust.    [06 Aug 2002 19:16:03]

Wonderful!
Went here for the first time today. The food was incredible. The service friendly, and the atmosphere so "homey Italian".
The portions are huge, even for two.
