Get the ribs! The restaurant is attached to a service station and has a nice, small-town feel. Ken employs most of the town I'd guess and the restaurant is only open Thursday and Friday nights and Saturdays (early afternoons I think...) Arrive early unless you want to wait in a very long line. Expect to pay $15-20 per person for a full meal.
You start with the salad bar which good, but not outstanding. Of course, cutting your own cheese from the block is interesting and different. After the salad, everyone gets a rib "on the house" to see if that's what you want (other options include chicken and steak.)
I took the ribs (the smaller size - 4 or 5 ribs) and a baked potato. I was not disappointed. I consider the quality of ribs to be nearly equal to Rendezvous in Memphis. Furthermore, these guys cut the ribs the right way: cut along the bone, not in between.
Amber, OK is a 2.5 hour drive from here and I'll be going back soon. [03 May 2004 15:23:20]

Only vegetarians will be leave hungry. What ambiance? Superb beef, ribs and chicken. Beats anything we've eaten in and out of Oklahoma (yes, Texas & California included) --at the price range of 12 to 15 dollars. True, selection is limited: Steaks, ribs, chicken, brisket and prime rib. Included in price is small salad bar, side of one potato or another. Included table appetizer is small rib order and some bread. (Makes you wonder if you shouldn't change your order to ribs!) Prime rib and sirloin steaks are fantastic. Everything is gently smoked, no overbearing "sauces" on foods, no "formed" beef of any sort here. Very clean restaurant area, very simple decor, nothing fancy (by ANY means!!) Just great food at a low price. Drinks are also simple: No alcohol, pop or iced tea. Service is great: Just don't expect white linened waiters and a maitre'd. [05 May 2004 12:08:46]

Ken's is Great! Ken's is a down home country eatery. Limited menu allows for excellent food. The ribs are some of the best I've ever had and my wife really enjoys the prime rib. The salad bar is small but very good and it has big pots of fried okra and pinto beans at the end of it to go with your meal. [23 Nov 2005 11:08:26]

No sauce necessary on these ribs!!!! Limited menu, but each item is excellent. If it's your first trip, you must get the ribs. The combination of rubs and the woods which Ken uses for smoking the meat are unmatched. This is one of the few places where you can get ribs without having to use sauce. They are that good. Steaks are also excellent. Friendly service. The place is small, so arrive early to avoid the lines. [07 Oct 2006 14:15:06]

THE RIBS!!!!!! OHHHH THE RIBS!!! The meat just falls off the bone and he puts no sauce on them because..well they dont need it... i recommend you get there very early because if you don't, you will be waiting in a very long line for a very long time!!
