Bad experience at the Oaks - Stay Away!
Several comments about the Oaks Steak House in Broken Bow, OK

1. Over billed for food ordered.
2. Cockroach spotted in the dinning room
3. Salad bar was terrible with wilted lettuce
4. Complained to owner about overbill, she did not reduce the bill. When I told her I thought I should not have to pay for the overbilling she called the police.
5. Would not take my Mastercard credit card. Only cash.

In summary the worst dining experience I have ever had. I was from Dallas, TX and this experience occurred on Saturday November 1, 2003.    [04 Nov 2003 18:26:52]

the oaks is exellent
1. price for food is resonable
2.service is great its not fast food
its good food
3.salad bar is not huge but good size
big selection
4.fish,steaks,sandwiches,appetizers all great
5.if crowded it is loud usually not smokey
6.no reservations smoking and non sweet or unsweet tea
