Best German Food this side of Munich! The Turek Family invites you to try some wonderful German food prepared by family members. We immigrated to this great country in 1974 and opened Old Germany Restaurant in 1976. We have 125 seats and feature great German dishes like Wiener Schnitzel, Jaeger Schnitzel, Schnitzel with Mushrooms in Cream Sauce. We also feature an extensive selection of German Beers, German and International wines. We hope to see you at our 14th annual Oktoberfest this September 9, 10 & 11 outside the restaurant under 20,000 SqFt of tents. Ein Prosit! Mike Turek Old Germany Restaurant [21 Jul 2004 13:33:22]

Better Service and Food Than In Germany Spent the last 35 years in Germany and then had to come to the states to get some decent service. Very nice people and was suprised to find good wine in a small town in Oklahoma, the food was good and plentiful, rather expensive but if you like German food this is a place to visit. Maybe I should come back to the states and make the Bratwurst for him. [06 Feb 2007 12:59:53]

We almost felt like we are actually back in Germany! Each state and area in Germany has its; own recipies and flavors. We spent 9 years in Germany and liked the food in and around Frankfurt the best. When we go to a German restaurant and order a dish that we remembered and receive a different dish ... we are disapointed. Not so with the Old Germany! The owners came from the Frankfurt area and those are the flavors they bring with them. When we first walked in, we realized the decor and atmosphere were duplicated to a great degree from Germany as well. We almost felt like we are actually back in Germany! (the only dissapointment was that the wait staff did not speak German or know even the typical greetings) We have been there 3 times and will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary there.
