Description

Gaijin is an excellent sushi house with the atmosphere of a cafe, including the option of dining outside. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Gaijin offers traditional sushi mixed with house specailties. Their menu is mainly sushi or nagiri with some soups offered as appetizers.

I am Gaijin
The atmosphere at the tiny Gaijin is remarkably loose and comfortable. The waitstaff are knowledgable, friendly, and often just as beautiful as the creations made by the chefs.
The prices are high (almost to the point of outrageous) except that Oklahoma is so land locked as to make the freshest fish one can get at least three days out of the sea or catfish (which would be disgusting sushi).
The atmosphere was better when they had hand made square sushi plates rather than flimsy plastic circles, but I'm certain they will fix this at some point.
The sake selection is good without being pretentious. and always served correctly per the preference of the drinker.
