Founded in 1930, Van's Pig Stand is the oldest single family owned Bar-B-Q Restaurant in the state of Oklahoma. We are most famous for our Pig Sandwiches, Hickory Smoked Pork Ribs, Vanized Potatoes and our homemade deserts.

Our Norman location was opened in 1994.

Our Bar-B-Q is slow smoked on a Southern Pride Pit with genuine Oklahoma Hickory Wood. Our Ribs and Brisket are first marinated with our own secret "Rib Rub" before they are placed on the pit.

Our Chopped Pork and Chopped Beef are slow smoked all night long, then chopped up and sauced up with our original recipe Van's Bar-B-Q Sauce.

Our Pig, Beef and Brisket sandwiches are served with a homemade bar-b-q relish that some say tastes like a chow-chow.

The Vanized Potato was invented by Grandma Van. She was tired of throwing away leftover baked potatoes at the end of the night and so the idea of a twice-baked potato was born.

Our Bar-B-Q Sauce is ketchup based with a nice blend of sweet(brown sugar) and sour(vinegar) and a secret blend of spices to give it that lasting flavor you can't get enough of. To make our Hot Sauce hot, we add mulched jalapeno peppers. The peppers give it a great flavor that is quite unique to the "Hot Bar-B-Q Sauce" arena.

To finish things off, all of our deserts are homemade.
