It's not the old Sleepy Hollow BUT...
It's BETTER. The food is superb. The service is exceptional. I've been back four times since Sleepy Hollow reopened and - as good as the old restaurant was - this food is wonderful. If you want mama's fried chicken and you're too tired or you never bothered to get her recipe or you just plain can't cook, go to Sleepy Hollow! Chicken, steak (grilled or chicken fried like you've never had chicken fried steak before... no soft gristly bits!), mashed potatoes, salad, corn, green beans... this is Okie Soul food you'll return again and again to wrap your lips around. And if you like peach cobbler... Oh! You gotta get it. Chocolate cake your downfall? You gotta get it. No... I don't own a piece of this restaurant; I don't even work there. But I sure like to have lunch there... and dinner when they're open (Friday and Saturday night) Sunday they're open 11-6. Go. You won't be disappointed.    [11 Aug 2007 18:09:55]
