Unbelievably expensive Three of us ate breakfast one morning last week while visiting my father in the hospital above the restaurant. The fare was; 1)two biscuits and gravy 2)two eggs, four rashers of bacon, and one biscuit 3)two eggs, two or three rashers of bacon, two biscuit w/gravy
The bill came to a whopping $31.00 for cafeteria food. The bacon, although thick and some of the best restaurant bacon I've had, was so saturated in grease having been prepared earlier and allowed to soak up the grease as it drained down the pan was almost unpalatable. I was quite surprised and wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone that didn't want to pay way too much for food that fell way too short of "good" [07 Dec 2003 12:39:22]

Where's the Amish? I went here in search of Amish food - wanted to see what it was like. I guess Amish eat grilled cheese sandwiches, french fries, chicken noodle soup, and salad. The only thing Amish in this place is a couple of artworks. [21 Feb 2004 00:55:05]

Catering Services I have used the Amish Kitchen several times for catering services. They were excellent. They were on time, always brought plenty of food and were extremely nice to work with. The food was always prepared well and the homemade rolls were incredible. We had them provide desserts which were also great. I would recommend them anytime for a catered meal that's more like homemade food. We have been very pleased. [20 Mar 2006 15:43:36]
