Zingaro Rules! For the past few years we've been eating at Zingaro every couple of months. Typically, this is either with local friends or visitors.
Y'know how some restaurants vary in terms of quality, service or food preparation? Not Zingaro. Chef April is always spot-on with her dishes and the servicing staff is friendly and consistent. Even the busboy knows when it's okay to smile at an overheard joke.
If I had only two dinners left in Ashland, Zingaro would be one and Amuse would be the other.
If you don't know what to order there, then go for the paella. It's not the gummy gunk that others pass off, and it's choc-full of delicious seafood, chicken and sausage. Some friends swear by the tapas, making a meal of them all. However, most of us just dig in for the full plates.
The wine list isn't lengthy, but there are some nice ones, including a couple of good tempranillos. [25 Jun 2007 21:20:09]
