For those looking for the taste of their 1950's high school social scene, Baker City's In & Out Drive-In can't be beaten. Whether you are looking for the authentic burger taste, a chocolate malted or thickly cut french fries with homemade pink sauce, you won't be disappointed. This isn't fancy, or a chain shop - and that is what makes this work.

The surroundings were understated and authentic. The red and white checkered floor and handmade wall decorations of local interest remind the diner that once upon a time all restaraunts were family owned and operated. Even the chipped ice can be crunched as we did in our youth.
