Best Chinese food in the valley! I'm always pleased to dine at China Delight. Everything I've tried there is fabulous. The staff takes great care in making the customers happy. I have always had great service. I often bring my family and friends, and we all enjoy our experience. [29 Jul 2002 20:59:40]

Worth the trip to Oregon! Everytime I visit Corvallis, I make a point to dine at China Delight. They always combine my favorite ingredients to recreate family dishes that I've grown up enjoying. My local colleagues always enjoy coming to China Delight, and say it's one of their favorite restaurants. [02 Oct 2002 02:07:42]

Best Chinese Food in Town China Delight serves the best Chinese food I've had since moving to Oregon. Everything I've tried is yummy, even if it's not a personal favorite of mine.
One of the great things about China Delight is that they use no MSG, and they offer a huge selection of vegetarian dishes. My husband especially likes Salt and Pepper Tofu, one of their vegetarian specialties.
My favorites are Chung King Pork, Lemon Chicken, and Orange Chicken. General Tso's Chicken is also very nice.
The staff are attentive without being pushy, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable.
Finally, the prices are very reasonable. Two people can have a delicious, filling lunch for under $15.
There's just no reason not to recommend China Delight. It's one of my favorites. [27 Mar 2003 20:06:15]

China Delight is the only Chinese I'll eat in Corvallis. I have eaten at nearly every restaurant in the city of Corvallis. When it comes to Chinese, "China Delight" is head and shoulders above the rest. The food is consistantly superior and the staff is courteous and efficient. The wait is never long even during peak times. The prices are very reasonable. Peter Leung, the owner, is involved in many public activities and generously supports many programs in the community. I've NEVER ever had bad service or a bad meal in this "Delight"ful restaurant. [15 Apr 2003 03:40:30]

China Delight is the greatest! China Delight is the only thing I am going to miss about Corvallis when I move away. My husband and I go there frequently, and enjoy the atmosphere and excellent food!

Poor Service, OK food I called for take out and the person taking my call wouldn't talk with me because I had questions about their menu. He said to come in for take out, order and then they would fix my my meal in 5 minutes. It took almost 20 minutes to get my meal. Four other customers picked up their takeout dinner while I waited.
I ordered a family meal, which normally comes with soup but they don't offer soup with takeout, you have to pay extra.
The food was OK but the service was terrible!! [05 Dec 2005 01:12:27]

Bad Vegetarian Food I went here because my husband and I are vegetarian and just moved to Corvallis. We wanted Chinese and looked up reviews online. This place was highly recommended and supposedly had a lot of "fake meat" dishes. We were very excited because we have been to many Chinese restaurants where they made all the regular Chinese dishes but with tofu or seitan or some other fake meat product. The service here was good but the portions were small and the fake meat was absolutely horrible. I got a gluten dish and it was like eating globs of fried flour. I have had gluten in many other places and it was yummy. I will never go here again but maybe if you are ordering meat dishes it is good. [03 Feb 2007 00:48:37]

Excellent Chinese food, excellent service The food was excellent, it was different than most chinese food I've had but it was still excellent. The waiter was very friendly. Maybe not the quickest since there was no one else in the restaurant, but not too slow. [19 Jan 2008 23:57:10]
