Not worth your money This restaurant serves inferior Vietnamese food. For those who are familiar with Vietnamese foods, this restaurant can be a great disappointment. Often foods served cold (supposely hot foods). Loads of MSG used in many items to cover up bad cooking. Don't expect a professional manner from the owner. Servers seem to have better manner, however. Great food, service and value Restaurant has been around for a number of years. When it first opened, I wasn't too impressed, but now it's at the top our list, at least for lunch; quick, tasty, consistent, and a great value. My wife and I have chosen to go there more and more often, and now it's to the point we go about once a week! There is a fair variety, but we have our favorites and just keep going back for more of the same. Enjoy the teas and coffee drinks as well. Not sure about the other reviewer, but I've always had a good experience with the owner and the servers. This is not a _fancy_ place, but that's not the kind of place I'd want to go every week anyway. [26 Apr 2006 13:56:15]

Favorite for quick lunch I'm not an expert on Vietnamese cuisine but I love Kimhoa's. I like the room temperature noodles! :) Favorites are the chicken salad $5.50 and the "seasoning chicken noodles" at $7. They have lots of vegetables and not too much grease, so I can eat with a clear conscience. Portions are generous; I usually get 2 dishes for takeout and end up with three meals. Everyone has been polite and friendly. When I asked them to hold the chopped peanuts one time because I had a sore throat, the owner gave me a complimentary ginger tea and a cube of herb tea that he recommends for sore throat. Wonderful family restaurant Our family loves Kimhoa's. We order take-out at least once a week, and dine in with friends almost as often. Food is perfect, Thai cold milk tea is awesome! The owners & their staff make us feel like family. [29 May 2007 21:41:59]
