Oyster Spinach Bisque
We had the Oyster Spinach Bisque. The presentation of the dish was very good. The view from the restaurant is worth stopping and trying the menu. Sure would like to know how they prepare this selection.

What Happened to the Shrimp?
We've been going to Tidal Raves for years and have always been impressed with the food...but, lately our favorite dish has gone awry. The beer battered tiger shrimp used to be ultra crispy and light, but the last three times we've had it, the batter was sodden, heavy. We haven't tried other deep fried items, so we can't comment on whether the problem exists with other selections of that kind. Must Visit, Great Experience
I live in Depoe Bay, and whenever my wife and I think of seafood, Tidal Raves is our only choice. The fish is impeccable, the shrimp and scallops are superb. The view of the Pacific Ocean while dining is fantastic, with an occasional whale or two. TR is the best in Oregon
Tidal Raves is exactly what it appears to be, a high-quality, friendly, and consistent restaurant. It is unlike most restaurants that attempt to be something they're not, while trying to hide behind a trendy and high-profile image. Good food, horrible service
Thank you so much for ruining my anniversary. I went to Tidal Wave at the urging of a local, who said the service and food were to die for. Apparently this great service only applies if you are over the age of 30. Bread basket was not refilled, drinks were never refilled the entire hour and half we were there. My boyfriend and I were pretty much ignored, while our waitress was literally fawning over the table next to us which was full of over 30 year olds. I really wish she had been more attentive to us because she would have gotten a better tip.    [12 Oct 2009 17:16:40]
