Best Breakfast in the Northwest We had heard about this breakfast most of our lives, but had never before had the chance to experience it. The setting and the service couldn't have been warmer. We loved the fresh fruits and the homemade fritters. I don't usually like pancakes, but these floated off the plate. Trout was moist and full of flavor. A "10" all the way around. The Best This breakfast is my most memorable of any breakfast I have ever had and we travel a lot in this area. This hotel is gorgeous, the service is excellent and the food is outstanding. We will definitely return to this hotel, it is at the top of our list in the area. First-class all around! [27 Jan 2004 16:50:13]

Restaurant prices, coffee shop quality! Our meal took an hour to serve. The food was not worth the wait. Not only was the food pathetically boring but it was priced as if it were actually good food. They brought us a ranch dip that tasted as if were made from a packet and I suspect it contained msg. The waiter was inattentive and inexperienced. Among many othe problems, we had to ask him three times just to bring a towel to wipe up spilled water. He did not ask if we wanted refills on our drinks. He did not warn us that the meal would take an hour to prepare which seemed strange being that it was the off hour and was not crowded. The only tables they were serving were outside which should have been wonderful as it was a beautiful day, however we had to hold the table down to prevent it from blowing over during the gusts and we were constantly harrased by wasps during the entire meal.
