Terrible We went to dinner to celebrate two birthdays at the Ram Restaurant in Lake Oswego, OR. The food quality has steadily gone down hill. The manager was not only unreceptive towards our suggestions, but also had no intention of fixing the quality. When we told the waiter (who was new) about our unhappiness with the food, he said that since he was new he didn't know the previous quality. We had halibut and chips (the halibut smell was strong like it was old) - halibut is a mild fish so there should not have been a strong fish smell. The other dish was Cobb Salad. The lettuce was shredded. You don't use shredded lettuce in a salad. Maybe on a sub sandwich, but not a salad. The bacon, turkey, avocado, etc. was very skimpy (like 6 pieces each). The salad was carrying a hefty price tag for what I received. Your price tags on everything are hefty. If the price tag is hefty, then the food quality should be excellent. That is not the case at your Lake Oswego location. [04 Jun 2002 17:31:19]

Over priced! Let's put it this way...spend your money better somewhere else. The NW has many class acts and this simply is not one of them. The food is good, but over priced and inconsistant. The managment doesn't care either.
What a joke. You'll drop $50 and walk away feeling like someone stole from you. I recommend going into downtown Portland and spending your money down there! [17 Jan 2003 11:34:43]

redeeming waitress if it hadn't been for our server Abby, my wife and I would have left very angrily tonight. i am used to servers who paste fake smiles on their faces and try to suck your money from you on appetizers and alcohol. But unlike that breed, our waitress was our ally, a guide who lead us safely through the hell that was our dining exerience. This beautiful charmer is worth a trip to the ram, but for any reason I would never return. I was very angry to overhear another server speaking harshly at our waitress over an inconsequential matter beyond her control (and it was very tacky of the other server to force us customers to overhear this). Sad! What happened to Oswego Pointe?? Wow! What a disappointment. Three of us attended Easter Brunch here and it was a sad excuse for a brunch, and way overpriced. They didn't even offer champagne! The brunch was to last the entire day, and we arrived for our 2:00 reservation and the food needed to be replenished. In fact, some of the dishes weren't refilled the whole time we were there. Very few salad selections, few entrees, but the dessert table was satisfactory. Besides the few selections of all the dishes .. there was nothing in the way of extraordinary that even tempted us to go back for seconds. All the tables area around the food wasn't kept up, or tidy. Overpriced and understaffed. We actually had a very good waiter, though he was also bartending. He was friendly, curteous and quite attentive. He was the best part of our visit. Please bring back Oswego Pointe .. it was top notch! This place is NOT. [09 May 2003 22:11:32]

Too Much Garlic In My Baby Back Ribs I visited the Ram 10-19-03 for the first and probably the last time. While the view and service was both nice, the Baby Back Ribs were lacking. For the price, I expected a full rack and received 1/2 rack. The ribs were warm, not hot as if they were just grilled, which they were not, the sauce was cool, not even warm, and the sauce was full of garlic. I don't care for a lot of garlic in my rib sauce. I prefer my rib sauce to be sweet and unique tasting. The fries were barely warm. All and all, I am certain my dogs enjoyed this meal much more than I did - they got the bones and a lot of meat.
