Beautiful Mural and Great Food
I stumbled upon this homey yet funky restaurant last week while trolling for dinner near the end of the alphabet of Northwest Portland streets. Acapulco's Gold, located on Vaughn Street between 26th and 27th, was a fantastic find for me on a drippy Tuesday. The food includes traditional Mexican as well as homestyle favorites, and the bar and restaurant attract regular customers, a few of whom are featured in the stunning mural that greets you at the door. One Of Best Rellenos In Portland
I've been eating the Spicy Beef Rellenos for years, before and after the fire, and I always return. I consider myself a relleno afficianado, and have never had one here that had the "old oil taste" that so many other restaurants serve!    [14 May 2004 13:15:00]

Kick Ass Service
