Greek Food The food is pretty good, though I haven't been there since graduating college in '99. The description says "kid friendly." Personally, I'm not too friendly toward other people's kids, but it is a family restaurant, and oh, yeah, if you're from one of those rare and blessed places where smoking indoors isn't allowed, brace yourself. excellent greek food I beg to differ with the previous review. I am from the area and frequent Alexander's. The food is high quality and well prepared, and very flavorful (I'm thinking of one dish in particular from the chef specials "shrimp Santorini" I can't live without that one), I have no complaints (I'm definately not one to give props unless they are well deserved). The smoking section is separated enough from the non smoking that it's not an issue at all. In fact while I was pregnant I couldn't stand smoke anywhere near me, but never had a problem there. I would suggest this restaurant for anyone who is looking for something al ittle nicer and better quality food. [29 Apr 2005 19:07:44]

Not entirely Greek, but still excellent food!!! This place was recomended to me by a friend. The place looks different and I think they are trying to change their name to Kitchen Bar. The food was exceptional tasting, portions were good to excellent. Little details enhanced the food. The restaurant has one day (Monday) when it serves authentic Greek food so keep that in mind. We were there on a Tuesday. The manu contained all the usual American Style food, with some Greek touches thrown into the mix. Salads, Gyros, Pork chops. However, everything was done in a sort of Greek way. Fresh meats on a bed of chunks of fresh veggies. The wine we had was a Cabernet Sauvignon (Baron Phillip Rothschild) and was incredible!!! The food was exceptional, the service was very prompt, curteous and always there, but not too much. All in all, great experience. Can't wait to go back on a Monday so I could enjoy a full Greek menu. But hey, if the regular Fillet Mignon, Black and Bleu Rib Eye, etc. were that good, I can imagine what a nice cut of Roasted Lamb would taste. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++ [28 Jun 2006 00:14:42]
