Horrible place to eat. It is extremely dirty. The Ladies Room had two vacuums sitting in there with filthy food crumbs showing in one of them. The floors were very dirty and the chairs that stood next to the counter were just as bad. I spotted the cook's grill and that was as black and dirty as coal. I felt annoyed w/myself because I spent $14.75 on two lousy sandwiches. The waitress was rude and she ignored us the entire time.    [13 Dec 2002 14:49:53]

I wholeheartedly disagree with the previous entry. I am a regular customer at P&J's and have been for several years now. For $5 you can get one of the best breakfasts on the Main Line, and I have yet to have any sort of complaint about the cleanliness of the restaurant and/or the attitude of the servers. I urge you all to take the previous entry with a grain of salt (the reviewer is a little too negative I believe) and give the cafe a try.    [22 Jun 2003 12:09:28]

Pat & Joe's
I have been here a few times for breakfast, and was not impressed, but did not dislike the food. The cleanliness was not very good in the bathroom, and the decor was poor. Our waitress was all right- she did not consistently check back with us, but she was helpful. The price was decent- a little overpriced, in my opinion, but not extremely so. What A Great Little Place!
I just started working down the street from P&C's Cafe and finally got to eat lunch there. I think the atmosphere and food, not to mention the wait staff were great! I know I will become a regular there - it seems alot of their customers are. I would recommend them to anyone looking for down home cooking and friendly setting.    [21 Oct 2005 09:48:04]
