Horrible place to eat. It is extremely dirty. The Ladies Room had two vacuums sitting in there with filthy food crumbs showing in one of them. The floors were very dirty and the chairs that stood next to the counter were just as bad. I spotted the cook's grill and that was as black and dirty as coal. I felt annoyed w/myself because I spent $14.75 on two lousy sandwiches. The waitress was rude and she ignored us the entire time.    [13 Dec 2002 14:49:53]

I am a regular customer at P&J's and have been for several years now. For $5 you can get one of the best breakfasts on the Main Line, and I have yet to have any sort of complaint about the cleanliness of the restaurant and/or the attitude of the servers. Pat & Joe's
I have been here a few times for breakfast, and was not impressed, but did not dislike the food. The cleanliness was not very good in the bathroom, and the decor was poor. Our waitress was all right- she did not consistently check back with us, but she was helpful. What A Great Little Place!
I just started working down the street from P&C's Cafe and finally got to eat lunch there. I think the atmosphere and food, not to mention the wait staff were great! They changed the name to pattymac's cafe, but it is still owned by the same woman, patty. They are moving up the street into the heart of Berwyn, about 1 mile on the same side, called the Berwyn Primary Shops. Delicious Food, attentive staff
I've been a customer since it was Pat & Joe's. I don't go out to eat all that often so when I do I look for delicious food/great service. The decor is simple, giving you a feeling you're among friends, not some impersonal restaurant. The team of employees work hard to get your food quickly but does not rush you. Recommendation: Get there early. I was there at 9:00 on a Saturday and the rest of the stores were closed and the parking lot was packed.
My only complaint is the coffee, but I can't find good coffee anywhere except Starbuck's. Definitely worth the wait, but if you get there earlier then 8, there shouldn't be a wait.    [12 May 2007 11:58:07]
