First off, I'd like to say that the food was excellent. Top notch sushi, even though our waitress sold him short. Everything about our experience was enjoyable except the service. I don't think that as a first time patron it is any of my business whether the head sushi chef has a major illness. Not only did it immediately bring the table's mood down, the fill in did an outstanding job. If we hadn't been told, we wouldn't have even known. Additionally my meal came with a choice of soup or salad (neither of which ever came). When we asked about dessert, we were told that they had "Something sort of like a cupcake, but not really a cupcake, sort of". While that sounded...interesting to say the least, we opted to go elsewhere for dessert. My love of sushi might bring me back, but with other local establishments serving sushi I may just continue to enjoy those restaurants instead.    [12 Jun 2006 12:48:58]

The Best Sushi Ever
If someone didn't tell you about this restaurant then I don't think you would ever notice it. It's a small restaurant on 3rd street and it's kind of hidden. This restaurant has the best sushi you will ever put in your mouth. The sushi was extremely fresh. The only problem was that I ordered edemame and it never came to the table, the waitress forgot about it. Once we got our food she pretty much forgot to come back and ask us if we wanted anything. ditto-best sushi ever
Our sushi was great. We'll never go anywhere else, and we haven't since like 5 years ago-since we found the fish we've always come back and it's always been the best!    [03 Nov 2006 16:24:17]
