Great Chinese on the Main Line My wife likes to shop the antique stores and I like to eat. We discovered this charming restaurant two years ago, and have made it a 'must' on every expedition since. The menu offers the usual fare-expertly prepared and inexpensively priced. Two can enjoy a full lunch [soup included] for under fifteen bucks. For starters, try any of the dumpling preparations-they are all fresh and delicious. While the noodle, rice, meat and poultry dishes are very good to excellent, the seafood is superb. There's a full bar available, but I would stick to the aromatic teas offered upon seating. [22 Mar 2002 09:50:37]

The best chinese dining in Bryn Mawr bar none. When I first discovered this quaint Chinese restaurant I was shopping in the area and decided to check it out for lunch. Since that day I have eaten there at least 20 times. The food is absolutely delicious and the price is the best in the area. The alternate Chinese restaurants in the area may have a more upscale ambiance but the prices and quality will never match Beijing Inn's level of service. I highly recommend this restaurant to any Chinese buffs visiting Bryn Mawr. [12 Jul 2002 15:45:07]

great food, horrible service I've been living on the Main Line for several years now, and I have to admit, the food here is very, very good. The best Chinese-American that you can get outside of Chinatown, in this area anyway. However, while the dishes are excellent, I highly recommend getting take-out. The service is slow and rude. There's a distinct disdain for the customer, and they try to rush you out of the restaurant as soon as possible -- mind you, I'm not one to linger, but I'd at least like to finish my meal before they hand me the check! Best Chinese Food at a Good Price I have been going to Beijing Inn, for a couple years. And it is excellent. The service is excellent, and the food is GREAT! Not to mention there is delivery, which is very, very, useful. [09 Aug 2005 10:58:20]

Im 14, and I love Chinese food. Beijing Inn is extremely good for the price (I don't have a lot of cash so I always watch price) and is right next to the Bryn Mawr theater. So you can go catch a flick and then grab dinner, and they're less than 50 feet from each other :) [25 Nov 2006 19:37:44]
