I've eaten here twice. First time, I was told I was lucky, the executive chef was cooking. My food was fantastic! Second time... not so good. So much grease, I couldn't eat more than a couple bites. I couldn't taste the food over the oil. A lighter oil should be used, and much less of it! The wine list was also extremely disappointing, both times. No white wine selections that really interested me, and really no decent-priced wines, either. Come on, places in downtown Phila have more reasonable prices! So, I was faced with a wine I didn't want at a price I didn't want to pay... or no wine at all.

Put your executive chef in the kitchen every day, though, add some more white wine selections to the list (at reasonable prices) and give the dated main dining room a much-needed update, and you'll have a good restaurant.    [02 Feb 2006 15:25:58]
