I Give the The Black Horse a Five Diamond Rating
Dining At the Black Horse Located in Denver, Pa was exceptional. The food was awesome, and top quality! The Service could not have been better, with Jody serving our table and knowing that the owner eats there was defiantly a plus. If you are ever in Denver, Pa please make sure you experience dining at the Black Horse and do not forget to stop in the Tavern, what a well stocked bar!    [14 Jan 2003 00:26:57]

A VERY EXCITED CUSTOMER OF THE BLACK HORSE

Rudest Service Ever
Several friends and I stayed in this hotel for the Stoudt's Beer festival in October 2002. The rooms were poorly cleaned and smelled weird. The price was around $170 a night. So not worth it. The tavern food was small portions, expensive and not very good. The manager/owner was extremely rude and arrogant. I would never recommend this establishment.    [14 Jan 2003 16:10:51]
