A Must in Denver, PA
Having tried this restauarnt a number of times, I have never been disappointed. For breakfast I would highly recommend the baked oatmeal. Unlike regular oatmeal, this dish is warm, flavorful and filling. There are always fresh baked pastries in the display case which beg to be taken to go when leaving the restaurant. always a treat!
After I visited once, the hosted remembered me and by the third visit knew my name. That gets your attention!
The prices are very reasonable and the menu features daily and combination specials.
With the help of the hostess, service is always within minutes.
The restaurant is large enough to handle a good size crowd so you never seem rushed or "hustled along" during your meal.
For a place called a diner, the interior decor is upscale and clean, making you feel very comfortable sitting either at the counter or in a booth. The bathrooms were also sparkling clean.
The parking lot is verylarge, accomdating even large trucks and buses, which occasionally appear, but don't detract from the service or ambiance. I would suggest bus parties call ahead as I ahve seen the staff handle an unexpected bus and handle it well while balancing the needs of the other diners.

While I have no financial or personal connection with this diner, I would highly recommend it as I frequent it every time I am in the area.    [17 Dec 2006 08:28:49]

Very Good
I had been waiting for several years for an opportunity to visit as three of my cousins work or have worked there. The food was good and the service was prompt. The homemade soups and desserts are to die for.    [12 Jun 2007 16:36:50]

Come from Medford NJ for the Roasted Chicken
The Best! Large portions, well cooked and served with fresh sides! The owners and help are first class. This is more a restaurant than a diner. Really great!    [26 Aug 2007 12:13:14]
