Chef bill knows how to feed a lot of people.........just not well. Food not worthy of the price. [14 Jul 2007 01:50:16]

Fantastic I really have to disagree with the prior post. I think that the Chef has put together a dramatic change from what The Freight House originally put out. This was boring, drab, old standards. We had our rehearsal dinner here and all of the food was fantastic. The service was even better than what we had received during our sample dinner. I assume that some of the diners here in Bucks County just aren't ready for the sophisticated style of cuisine that the Freight house has been serving. There are still the old generic style of establishments left in Doylestown for those who prefer it. I would personally prefer to save my trip to the city and dine at the Freight House. I highly recommend it ...and try their cocktails, delish. [23 Oct 2007 03:22:29]

Great Place We love Freight House. Great service with an extremely large menu. I recommend the weekly specials. We have had some fantastic dishes from this menu. Recently had a perfectly cooked piece of venison here. The restaurant seems to put heavy focus on offering seasonal products. Even the cocktails have taken on this role. It makes me very happy to know that what I am consuming is fresh! My girlfriend and I enjoyed a Pumpkin Chai (?) martini there this weekend!!! Wow, you have to try this drink...incredible. Dangerously smooth. We sat in front of the fireplace in the back of the place. We got a bit concerned as we walked past their main room, but the fire was a nice treat for a Fall dinner.
