Located near the court house and fire house, this restaraunt features a wide array of traditional Mediterranean food as well as American style dishes. Choices include: Falafel, Bab-Ganoosh, Gyros, American Burger, Shrimp Scampi, and Nicoise Salad. Desserts include: Baklava, Flogeres, and Apple Strudel.

Best Mediterranean Food in Town
I'm not sure why this restaurant is classified as Italian. I would call the style Mediterranean because of the type of dishes served such as houmus and tahini, stuffed grape leaves, and falafel for appetizers. You can also order Eastern European specialties such as stuffed cabbage, brisket and apple strudel.

I was very pleased and have returned to this restaurant several times. The food is very good and reasonably priced. And they now have a liquor license.    [07 Nov 2003 16:35:32]

Never Disappoints
We have been going to La Pergola for at least 10 years and the food is always excellent. The staff works very hard to fill your every need. It is a jewel in Doylestown.    [25 Mar 2006 11:10:45]
