More than I was expecting
In the dank corner of an otherwise unimpressive strip mall is this little gem of a restaurant (and bar). My roommate and I found this place just last Monday night. We sat near the bar (in the bar area as opposed to the restaurant area) and were immediately served by the bartender. Yes, they do have Guinness on tap. The food was surprisingly good. We split the duck and cabbage eggroll appetizer. Quite yummy. Then came the big surprise – the mushroom soup. I do not believe I have ever had a creamy mushroom soup so good. My roommate then had a Greek salad that he said was wonderful and I had the Bowtie Pasta with Sausage in a creamy tomato sauce with goat cheese. It was good (not GREAT but good). The Guinness was expertly poured and the waitstaff was attentive. The décor was nice and welcoming. My only real complaint was that it was $49 for the both of us. One of the Best!
We love the Drafting Room! In my opinion, the Drafting Room is one of the best places to go in the Exton area. The food is very good and the service always attentive. The menu is varied. You can get the basics but there are also very imaginative dishes so it suits many. My only complaint would be that it gets very loud.    [27 Mar 2005 10:59:53]
