Best Food In Glenside The best food I ever ate was in Michael's. Salad bar is great and fresh. Desserts are delicious. I had a good time. [24 Nov 2001 11:13:40]

Good Food - Service? The food is great at Michael's, but the service is sometimes slow, and with an attitude. I recommend the salad bar. The service of my particular waitress did make the the experience much less pleasant. She was rude and the service was slow. She seemed to ignore us. It is a shame that a place with good food hires such a lousy waitress. [25 Sep 2002 09:41:50]

Great Food? Huh, WHAT Great Food?! Michael's is the only "real" restaurant directly across the street from our Arcadia University campus. However, it does not seem suitable to be next to a college campus, because it is a very generic chain diner with mediocre-to-poor food and an overall environment much more fitting for the senior citizen crowd. The restaurant definitely has that classic cheesy diner feel, with tacky pink decor and all, but for a "diner" the prices are rather overpriced. Not only are the prices high, but the quality of food is low and things always seem either over or undercooked. Out of all of the diners that I've tried in the Philly area (which is quite a few), I think Michael's has given us the worst value. Amongst the entire college, the only foods that have been spoken about with good word is their cheesecake--but all else is not worth the time or money. [31 Aug 2003 21:44:14]
