Ponderosa # 758 Greensburg, Pa.
While shopping in the Greensburg area (4) of us decided to attend the Ponderosa on Donohoe Rd. We have attended the Ponderosa in Indiana, Pa. often & always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, this time we were very dissatisfied. They were not busy but we were told to sit wherever. Our drinks were not ordered for a while & no one told us to start on the bar. We finally ordered 4 lemon/waters & got 2 without lemon & were never refilled. We ordered 4 steak dinners & got 2 then 15-20 min later 2 more. The waitress did not stop back again. Our dishes were piled 5-6 high on our table until we got another waitress to take them. She said she would help us since our waitress did not. The food on the bar was not refilled. The macaroni & cheese was like glue. We had to ask for rolls. The ice cream came out chocolate in all selections. The sprinkles for the ice cream were all over the counter & the floor. Both restrooms were dirty with paper overflowing on the floor. It's bad when a man notices a dirty place & bad service. If we would have never visited one of your restaurants before & had an experience like this one, we would never visit one again. I can honestly say that I have never been to a restaurant with service & surroundings as bad as this one.    [04 Sep 2003 11:51:49]

The best Ponderosa I've been too
My family visit the Ponderosa in Greensburg a few times a month. We like the staff and prompt service...I guess the other review must have been a bad day or night....U know..its Ponderosa, not the La Mont...u only 9 bucks for a steak and buffet bar...what did the other guy want...strolling violins playing for him with his water with lemon...we love this ponderosa try it..I am sure u will not be disappointed    [11 Dec 2003 17:48:31]
