One of the Best Bar Restaurants in Havertown
6/8/03: Each time my husband and I go to Barnabys, we are always pleased and this night was no exception. The waitress came over immediately to get our drink and appetizer order, and then shortly there-after the dinner came. All the food and drinks were delicious and we will continue to come back in the near future.

I heard rumors that this Barnabys was going to move to a less desireable area in or near Upper Darby. If this is the case, we will not frequent the restaurant. This is the best bar-restaurant in the Havertown area and it should stay where it is currently located. Otherwise, it will lose a great deal of business.    [08 Jun 2003 19:41:25]

Great Take-Out at Convenient Location
Because I've become disabled and I'm no longer able to cook on a regular basis, Barnaby's has become a favorite take-out source. They offer a good selection of well-prepared, flavorful foods at reasonable prices.    [17 Dec 2003 14:40:39]

Barnabys of America
Though Barnaby's does offer some good food choices, God forbid you need to alter your meal even slightly. I live very close to the restaurant, however have learned my lesson in eating there. They cannot so much as leave bacon bits off of a salad, never mind anything else, and every single time our order will come out exactly how it is on the menu. As stated in a previous comment, it is rare to get meat at the temp you request. It may have been that temp at one point, but by the time it takes the 7 people who run your food out to you, it is well done. Not all of my experiences have been horrible but when you don't get what you ask for and the place is inconsistent, I don't like to risk it.    [28 Feb 2008 17:46:27]
